We are located in the old town of Nice (French Riviera) for about thirsty years. We have initially been involved in the restoration of old pieces of furnitures and providing customized painted designs on customer's furniture. Our activities evolded towards "Old Cars" artworks at the request of customers-collectors.
The range of our 'automobile artwork' (acrylic or water paint) spans from the CITROEN Traction model or MORGAN from the 40's to more recent models like PORSCHE 911, RENAULT Berlinette of the 70's and organized within 4 main categories :
- - Dreams Cars : JAGUAR type E, ASTON MARTIN DB5, MG A, MERCEDES 300SL....
- - Sport/Muscle Cars : FERRARI 250GTO, PORSCHE 911S, AC COBRA, FORD MUSTANG SHELBY 350GT, RENAULT Alpine A110, R8 Gordini....
- - Memorabilia/Nostalgia's Cars : PEUGEOT 403, RENAULT 4CV, 4L, Dauphine, FIAT 500F, CITROEN 2CV, DS19, VOLKWAGEN Combi, Cox, AUSTIN Mini, SIMCA 1000....
- - 2 wheelers : We are starting the collection with the legendary SOLEX and VESPA.
CONTRE-JOUR is a workshop .We are involded in all steps of creation from design, painting and reproduction on various media types and sizes. The constant printing evolution allow us to reproduce our originals creation with the finest quality at reasonable price. All our reproduction are delivered with original certificate.
Note : Our artwork is signed "DOMIL" as both of us are involved in the creation and painting process (Domil is a contraction of DOMinique and gILles).
